PERBANDINGAN MODEL PREDIKTOR FINANCIAL DISTRESS PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR DI INDONESIA

Abstract

This study concerns the accuracy of predictors of financial distress models using four models of the Altman Model, Grover Model, Springate Model and Zmijewski Model. The method used is comparative analysis with matched-paired sampling criteria. The sample amounted to 72 companies, consisting of 36 companies experiencing financial distress and 36 who did not experience financial distress. The results of this study indicate that the Altman Model is a financial distress predictor model that has a higher level of accuracy than others and is very suitable to be applied to manufacturing companies in Indonesia.
