PENGARUH SOSIAL-EKONOMI PETANI BAWANG MERAH TERHADAP PENERAPANZEOLIT DAN PUPUK ORGANIK DIKABUPATEN BREBES

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether econonal social factors (farmer age, farmer education level, farmer experience, level of activity in agricultural activities, number of dependents family and farm income) affect the application of zeolite and organic fertilizer on the basis of expansion in the cultivation of shallots in the study area. The analytical method to determine the effect of farmers' social and economic characteristics on the use of zeolites and organic fertilizers using Binary Logistic Regression analysis. The results showed that the level of application of zeolite and organic fertilizer had positive adoption. Simultaneously the Socio-Economic Factors of the farmer described the significant effect on zeolite and organic fertilizer application on the cultivation of shallots at the study site. Partially, the variables of farmer age, education, and level of activity in shallot farming activities, and the experience significantly affected the application of zeolite and organic fertilizer, while, dependents of families and onion farming income did not significantly affect the application of zeolite and organic fertilizer.
