PENGARUH KOMPETENSI KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP DAYA SAING PELAKU INDUSTRI JAMU MADURA (STUDI UMKM JAMU KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN MADURA)

Abstract


Madura Island is famous for herbal industry which has been passed down from generation to household to small industries. Pamekasan Regency has a community of herbal medicine that has been incorporated but has not been significant in terms of domestic industrial production and in terms of companies that have long been established. In Potre Madura Association there are 15 SMEs joined in Pamekasan District. This study uses primary and secondary data by interviewing herbal medicine IK actors and key informants as well as external environmental dynamics that support IK Jamu. The analysis used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative using aspects of Entrepreneurship Competence, Government Policy and Competitiveness by likert. The description of the analysis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach by looking at the factors that influence the business competitiveness of the herbal industry. The results of the inner model show the relationship between entrepreneurial competence, government policy and competitiveness. The competitiveness of herbal medicine industry entrepreneurs in Pamekasan Regency is directly influenced by entrepreneurial competencies consisting of technical and entrepreneurial competencies and government policies directly affecting entrepreneurial competence.
